Sports Column- Randy Moss

I agree with Clifton Brown that the acquisition of Randy Moss was very risky, but also fits their needs at the time. The Minnesota Vikings are taking a huge risk with Randy Moss. First, he has left two teams on bad notes in his career and that could be something the Vikings could face...again. Moss' presence will be either all they were looking for or just another let down. Next, Randy is now getting old for the NFL's players. He is 33 and has had his stats drop noticeably. He was held to zero catches in his last game as a New England Patriot. Moss is definitely capable of playing like the star he could be, but he can go the opposite way also and play like the 33 year old that doesn't get one single catch in a game. Last, the Minnesota Vikings are in a desperate time for   the beginning of this season. They have started off this year with one win and two losses. Randy Moss is one player that for sure knows his way around the football field. He could come to the Vikings and start the game next Monday against the Jets. The only question is which Randy will show up?
